Republic of Tea

The challenge was to rebrand the existing Republic of Tea identity and develop a sustainable packaging system for any five of their current lines. The task was to create an organized categorization of the teas while keeping their brand equity in mind. A minimum of nineteen packaging pieces were required at the end of six weeks, complete with a new identity.

The Republic of Tea has been revolutionary in introducing new flavors into the market and is one of the leaders in the tea industry today. Inspired by their tag line, “The Purveyors of The Finest Teas,” the design direction turned to the idea of trade and exploration with a modern twist. It envisioned the brand on a tea expedition, setting sail to scour the world for quality teas.
